is tremendous pleasure to read so keep it coming! We also welcome constructive
criticisms and suggestions about how we can improve. Here are
some things people have said about recent MADjam weekends.
Congratulations for hosting the best event ever. It is very

I wanted to write to tell you how much fun I had at MAD
Jam and compliment your staff. The staff was
respectful, friendly and attentive. I will remember how
well I was treated. Your staff provides excellent

Thanks so much! - Kathy Congratulations on a truly great event. I have been traveling to national dance competitions for 4 years and this years Madjam is definitely one of my top 5 events. The strengths of the event are the social dancing (having 2 rooms) and offering an All-Star Division for the J & J competition (this gives the non-pro Advanced dancers a fair chance to compete). - Michael
Well, it took me a week to recover from the event. My students
and I had a
great time! At 5am Sunday morning one of my students said "I
have a Husband and two children at home, and I don't feel like
leaving! Is this what they call 'addiction?". See you next year

Congratulations on a really well-run, very very fun event. I've heard such raves about how smoothly everything went, even with such a huge number of participants. And I think it had more energy than any event I've been to since NADC. Well done! - Kay
A well run event. Everything seemed to start on time and the staff seemed really helpful and on the ball. Bill at the front desk as well as Lee and the blonde lady at the contest floor really bent over backwards to take care of everybody. I thought service was better than any comp I have been to. Kudos to Lee and the others. I feel as though you have put together an excellent event. It's has to be one of the best run events I have been to. I hope that next year can be made even better. If anyone can do it, You can. - Frank G. I have not danced that much in one weekend in a LONG time. I usually go to bed around 3am at events. This time, 5am the first, 4am the second... the people and social dancing was great. The contests were well run (ie on time, fair, etc, etc). MADjam is on my repeat list for next year.Enjoyed the weekend. I loved the way you arranged the ballroom. It was easy to see the stage from almost everywhere and it felt very 'small town' despite the large numbers. This is meant as a compliment. And everything flowed well, again despite the incredible number of J&J's you had to manage. Great job. We are looking forward to next year. - Madeline What a great weekend! Dancing till 6:30AM in the morning, a great hotel, unbelievable competitions, and amazing dance routines. I was so impressed with how organized and smoothly run it was. Kudos to your staff and all the people who made this event so successful! The volunteers and staff were all so friendly and professional. It was a wonderful experience for me! I was even inspired to enter the Novice Hustle J&J, and surprisingly made it to the finals! That was totally unexpected and a complete surprise! We know what goes into putting together an event of this magnitude. You did everything to keep things together and "ON TIME" - your staff and volunteers you chose to work with were a great combination of people working towards one goal "A GREAT DANCE WEEKEND FOR ALL WH0 ATTENDED" What a refreshing change to visit a city with a growing west coast swing scene and attend and event that is bigger and more exciting every year. you sooooo much for such a fun filled weekend at MAD JAM!! We had
such a great time! We so enjoyed the workshops, especially the Hand
Dance Basics with Kevin and Denise. You really went above and beyond
with your efforts in making this a fabulous weekend. We

have nothing but praise for you and all your efforts. I know you spent the
last year planning and getting things organized for this event and it
really showed. By using reliable and trustworthy friends to put things
together, it became a team effort, rather than a battle of egos. I
have absolutely nothing to complain about... except for sore knees! –Bill The event ran on time! A great achievement and a significant departure from other events in DC. The MAD Jam staff, professionals, judges, workshop monitors, etc. were all very professional. The registration staff made one feel welcome when you came in and glad that you could attend the event. fun, punctual, professional and more. You really went out of your way to
make sure everyone had a great time and it shows - Danny It
was the most fun I've ever had at a dance event. It was so nice the
way you organized all the comps on the hour with long periods of open
dancing in between. And everything ran right on schedule.
